Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks of Butter (room temperature)

  • 1 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Molasses

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • 3 cups Flour

  • 1 1/2 cups Old Fashioned Oats

  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation notes:

Preheat oven to 350. With a blender, beat butter until smooth, then add in both sugars and cream together.

Mix in Molasses, salt, eggs, and vanilla.

Next, add in flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Then stir in oats and chocolate chips.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or use a silicon baking mat. Scoop out about 2 tbsp of dough and roll into a ball, and place on a baking sheet, spacing about 2-3 inches apart.

Bake 10-15 minutes until lightly golden on top. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Remove from oven and let cool on a cooling rack.

Cool before serving. Enjoy!
